Let the Grid Be Your Guide

Articles | 03.28.2013

For those of you who have been coming to worn&wound for a while (thank you, by the way) you might have noticed a few upgrades over the last couple of weeks. For those who are new to worn&wound (welcome!) let me introduce you to some of the awesome things that make w&w the best site for reviews and articles on accessibly priced watches.

First, our homepage has gotten a face-lift. Now, you will be greeted with a large image that will take you to one of our most recent featured articles or reviews. Not sure what that picture is about? Hover your mouse over it find out more as well as control the flow of images. We’ve also made the blog roll longer, to make more of our posts readily available. As always, there are dedicated columns towards the bottom of the page for our guides and style articles.

But the biggest, coolest change was made to our Watch Review Grid. As always, reviews on worn&wound don’t get buried in the archives as they would on so many other sites. Instead, they become a part of our exclusive Watch Review Grid, an interactive matrix that allows you, our awesome readers, to visually browse for watches they wish to read about. Every watch is presented clearly, and the whole grid can be sorted by brand, price, type, case, diameter and movement, allowing you to easily find a watch that suits your taste and budget. Want to look at Pilot watches that cost under $500? Just set the “type” to Pilot and “price” to 0-499, then hit filter. Want to look at every chronograph we’ve reviewed? Easy, set the “movement” to chronograph and hit filter. Want to only see reviews of Steinharts?.. you get the picture.

So, that’s about it for now. What do you think? Is the new grid working well for you? Any suggestions? We want to continue to make worn&wound the best blog and your feedback is crucial. Oh yeah, and dont’ forget to follow us on facebook, instagram and twitter, as well as check out our awesome American made watch accessories. Thanks in advance!

I had been looking for a watch site that had a good selection of info on more affordable wristwatches and “Worn&Wound” fits the bill perfectly. Great work, here, folks! I’ve added a link to your site on my own blog.
    Keep up the good work!
