Pairs Well With: Archimede Bronze Pilot 39H

For this edition of Style Saturday, we actually went and made a Pairs Well With, as it has been some time since our last. This wintery edition stars the sterile dial Archimede Bronze Pilot 39H. We’ve reviewed the 42H in May of 2013 and were very into it’s classic Flieger design, quality German craftsmanship, and surprising use of Bronze. The ever changing material adds a warmth and natural patina to the iconic pilot shape, making it more stylized, but nevertheless true to the genre. The newer 39mm case is ideal for the colder months, slipping easily under layers and staying comfortable throughout the day. The ensemble was inspired by the watch’s timeless design, warm tonality and rugged finish.
