Lego Mclaren F1 Racecar Set

Via LEGO/McLaren Racing

LEGO has been on a roll as of late. Recently, they released their 2022 Speed Champion collection that includes a 1970 Ferrari 512 M, a Lamborghini Countach and a pair of Mercedes AMG performance cars including the F1 W12 E track car.  And if you happen to have enough desk or shelf real-estate to add something bigger, then we suggest you check out the newest addition to LEGO’s Technic line in the McLaren Formula 1 Race Car set. Models from the Technic collection are more complex and comprehensive builds consisting of functioning gearboxes, wheels and axles that go along with the realistic details of each vehicle. LEGO has partnered up with McLaren Racing to offer a 1,432 piece set that will feature a V6 cylinder engine with moving pistons, steering, suspension and differential for precision cornering. This is just about as close as it gets to owning an F1 car. The Mclaren F1 Race Car set will be available on March 1st, 2022.

Lightyear Goes Infinity, And Beyond

Via Lightyear Film

Remember when “Summer Blockbusters” were a thing? Well it looks like we’re slated to have several feature films hit theaters during the Summer season. One of which is an animated film by Pixar entitled “Lightyear”, a sci-fi adventure that follows young test pilot Buzz Lightyear before he became the legendary Space Ranger and the iconic toy that partnered up with Woody & Co in the Toy Story film series. Chris Evans is the leading man and lends his voice to Buzz Lightyear who is tasked to go on an intergalactic journey to save the world. Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino provides the chilling interstellar soundscape in the vibrant trailer above. Lightyear is set to premiere this June.

The Epic Conclusion To Jurassic World

Via Jurassic World Dominion Film

Jurassic World Dominion sets the scene four years after Isla Nublar, home to the original Jurassic Park, was destroyed and now both humans and dinosaurs live in a world where they try to co-exist. Chris Pratt assumes his role as Owen Grady, the motorcycling dinosaur wrangler that always seems to be in a situation where he’s assisting others in escaping something big and for the most part, hungry. But he won’t be alone, as some familiar faces from the earlier Jurassic Park films make their return on screen, including paleobotanist Ellie Sattler played by Laura Dern, our favorite paleontologist Alan Grant played by Sam Neill and Ian Malcolm played by Jeff Goldblum who made his return in the previous Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom film. By the looks of the trailer, Jurassic World Dominion promises a great deal of action-packed scenes and dramatic stare downs with the apex predators that once again roam the planet. The epic conclusion to the Jurassic World saga hits theaters on June 10th.

Can Your Electric Vehicle Travel On Water?

Via Cybercat

The Tesla Cybertruck is still a year away from production but that doesn’t mean reservation holders can’t start dreaming about the miscellaneous ways they can soup-up their Cybertruck. Sure you can throw on a roof rack or some new wheels, but what about an attachment system that turns your Cybertruck into a catamaran? The Cybercat is exactly that. Created and patented by Anthony Diamond who himself is also a Cybertruck reservation holder, wanted to find an energy efficient solution to how he would be able to navigate the local waterways of the Puget Sound in Washington.

The Cybercat gives a whole new meaning to amphibious vehicles. As per Anthony Diamond, assembling the Cybercat will take as much time as launching a boat and has the ability to travel up to speeds of 25 mph and to distances upward of 115 miles, all powered by the EV battery. The best part, the whole outboard motor system packs up and fits in the back of the Tesla Cybertruck. If you’re one of the people on the Tesla Cybertruck reservation list, in the market for a portable EV-catamaran and don’t mind waiting on another list, then go ahead and sign up for the Cybercat priority status.

eBay Finds: VINTAGE 1969 BULOVA OCEANOGRAPHER “M” SNORKEL DIVER AUTO WRIST WATCH

Via eBay User: heygreatwatch

This Bulova Oceanographer Snorkel has to be one of Bulova’s coolest looking divers. With its blue bullseye dial with mirror outer track and two tone acrylic bezel it’s a winner. The blue dial is really unique, and this example is in excellent condition. Trust me, these rarely turn up for sale looking this good. The squarish case is also unique, adding to the overall look. The 39mm wide case is unpolished, with nice sharp edges on the bevels. As cool as the dial is, the bezel insert is the real hero for me. The first quarter is a deep red, and the rest is gray, which makes for a great contrast. These were also produced with red and blue bezels. This one has the original plexi crystal with internal cyclops date magnifier, and it looks to be chip/crack free. The gold tone movement is clean and the seller states it runs well. Even the crown is correct and signed. Really sweet example of a hard to find and unique looking Bulova diver. Check out the auction for the 1969 Bulova Oceanographer “M” Snorkel diver here.
