Introducing The Luminox NSF 3050 Series

Luminox builds on their relationship with the Navy SEAL Foundation with a new release dubbed the 3051.GO.NSF. The watch features a black and grey color scheme befitting of the Navy SEAL connection, and calls on over 25 years of Luminox experience in making watches used by the elite group. This is the third watch designed in collaboration with the NSF, and dials up the tactical aesthetic in the process. It’s not a black out watch, it’s a ‘grey out’ watch, and even if you’re not a SEAL, you can still take advantage of their unique design spec for this one.

The Navy SEAL Foundation is a non-profit that provides essential programs to SEALs, SWCCs, veterans, and their families. From healthcare, to transitioning to civilian life and careers, to family support, the NSF is vital to the SEAL community. With this collaboration, Luminox continues their support for the foundation, to which they make donations and serve as event sponsor.

The watch itself is pretty cool, too. While it measures a healthy 44mm in diameter, the entire case is made of their CARBONOX material, making it lighter than even titanium, so it should be a breeze to wear as a result. Rather than using sapphire, the SEAL’s requested a hardened mineral crystal, opting for the potential to crack over the potential to shatter.

Visually, the watch is near uniform in its dark grey color, save for the light grey application of the first 20 minutes of the bezel’s index. Luminox’s Light Technology appears at the hour markers, which are micro capsules filled with tritium gas that will stay visible through an entire night and have a lifespan of 25 years.

The 3051.GO.NSF will not be limited in production and pricing is set at $435. Learn more about the Navy SEAL Foundation right here and see more of the watch from Luminox.
