W&W Horween Model 1s are Back!

We are very excited to announce that our Model 1 watch straps are back in stock and better than ever.

In 2013, we released our Horween Model 1 watch straps and they quickly proved to be one of our most popular products. Made in NYC, these straps are modern and minimal, with one line of stitching per side, straight cut, black finished edges and a single large keeper. They’re made of American Horween leather (chromexcel or oiled nubuck) and come in three colors, Rye, Crimson and Coal.

Unfortunately, Model 1s have been out of stock for longer then we ever wanted, but we’ve used this time to improve their design and construction. We’ve refined the Model 1 design to make them fit watches with shorter lugs and have improved their construction to allow for more consistency, precise detailing and greater comfort. The new construction also gives the appearance and shape of padding, though the straps are still 100% Horween leather. This allows for a more plush and high-end feel.

It’s been a long time coming, but the Model 1s are finally back and available for purchase now in the worn&wound shop.
