Formula 1 fans have likely had this weekend circled on their calendars since the season schedule was released. The Monaco GP is a spectacle of obscene wealth, fashion, and of course, racing. What the race lacks in drama (can we get a passing lane?) it makes up for in display of the drivers’ skill in precision maneuvering around a tight track laid through Monaco’s prestigious Monte Carlo and Condamine districts. Saturday’s qualifying is where the real drama happens. To celebrate the race, TAG Heuer has revealed a new limited edition Monaco in a chic silver colorway.
The name of this Monaco is the Titan Limited Edition, and it features a titanium case measuring 39mm in diameter. Titanium is rarely seen in the Monaco collection, and works well in this configuration as a base for the silver sunburst dial. The texture of the case is uniform sand-blasted matte texture, including the pushers along the 3 o’clock side of the case and the crown at 9 o’clock.
