A Look Back at the 2022 NYC Windup Watch Fair

Another year of Windup Watch Fairs is in the books. To everyone that was able to make it out to a Fair this year in San Francisco, Chicago, or, most recently, New York City, THANK YOU. After a long couple of years of canceled or restricted events, it was great to get out into the world and see everyone again.

The NYC Fair was easily our most ambitious yet, with more brands and more to do than ever before. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out video recordings of all of the panels we hosted at the event. The Worn & Wound crew was joined by a slew of great moderators and panelists to discuss everything from stewarding heritage watch brands to the new British invasion of watchmaking.

As is tradition, we put together a video recap of the NYC Fair. In it, you’ll hear from attendees and brands alike about their experience at the Fair and what the watch community means to them. Check out the recap below and some select photos from the Fair at the end of this post:

We’d like to give a special thanks to our Lead Sponsors of the NYC Windup Watch Fair for helping to make this latest event the most exciting to date. These sponsors include Christopher Ward, G-SHOCK, Junghans, Oris, and Zodiac.

We’d also like to thank our friends at The Glenrothes for supporting our kickoff reception for Fair participants. Here’s a quick recap video, just in case you’re curious how a bunch of watchmakers and watch nerds get down.

We’ll be back at it again next year, with plans to bring the Windup Watch Fair back to San Francisco, Chicago, and NYC. We hope to see you there!
