Over the past year, BALL has seen success launching new watches via pre-order, having unveiled four timepieces at special reduced prices for customers getting in on the action early. We covered all four previous releases: the Roadmaster GMT, Engineer III King, Engineer Master II Voyager and the Engineer III Bronze/Silver Star. Now, joining that group is the BALL Fireman NightBreaker.
Like most watches in BALL’s extensive catalog, the Fireman NightBreaker has some solid specs behind it. The case is 40mm in diameter with a height of 11.3mm. It sports a sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown, and a water-resistance rating of 100 meters. Additional features include anti-magnetism (resistant to 4,800A/m) and the brand’s patented Amortiser anti-shock system (a lock for the rotor that prevents the weight from damaging the movement in the event of a sudden shock). The movement powering the Fireman NightBreaker is the BALL RR1103, which has as its base an ETA 2824-2. Like I said, the Fireman NightBreaker offers solid specs for a watch that could easily be a daily driver.
