Introducing Model 2 Premium Moss and Crimson Chromexcel Straps by worn&wound

Two weeks ago we revealed our Navy and Natural Model 2 Premiums, and today we’re excited to announce the return of Moss and Crimson, rounding out our Fall Model 2 Premium line up. Together, the four colors create a palette that is rugged and autumnal, with hints of color to liven up those colds days ahead.

As a reminder, our Model 2 Premium straps are an evolution on our Model 2 style. They feature the same 2mm taper, hand tied knots and mix of metal and leather keepers signature to the look, but have been upgraded in construction to include all-natural vegetable tanned lining leather from Wickett & Craig tannery as well as complimentary edge paint rounding them out. Moss

The rich, waxy Chromexcel leather used with the Model 2 Premium – Moss has an unusual earthy color that is somewhere between green and brown. It has a very strong pull-up effect when the leather is stressed, revealing bright sandy colors underneath the surface, giving the leather a dynamic range of tones. We left the edges of the Moss unfinished, showing the brown core, which adds to the outdoorsy appeal. The Moss has been finished with brown edges and brown thread, giving it a dark overall appearance. The Model 2 Premium Moss is available now in 18, 20 and 22mm for $89.

Crimson

A worn&wound staple, the rich, waxy Cavalier Chromexcel Horween leather used with the Model 2 Premium – Crimson has a dark, reddish brown color that subtly changes under stress as the oils move around the surface, creating a dynamic appearance. This also allows the Crimson to develop a distinct, beautiful character as it is worn, picking up nicks and scuffs for a rugged finish. The Crimson has been finished with brown edge paint and khaki waxed braided cord, bringing out the earthy tones of the leather. The Model 2 Premium Crimson is available now in 18, 20 and 22mm for $89.
