QUICK RELEASE in Partnership with J&Berg

A Textured Sandwich Dial Brings Depth to the B2 from J&Berg

Fresh from Finland, J&Berg’s new release, the B2, brings a clean, legible addition to the everyday watch releases of the year. With modern material and design touches the watch dresses up and can weather harsh conditions. The brand is based in the city of Oulu. Born from a passion for design and engineering, the B2 furthers their goal to create eye-catching mechanical watches.

True to their passions, the B2 runs on a Miyota 9039 movement, offering almost 42 hours of running time. The J&Berg engraved crown screws down into a 38.5 mm diameter case, made fully of titanium Grade 5. At 10.4 mm tall and with 20 mm lugs, the watch comes in at an easy-to-wear 53 g with 10 ATM water resistance. The watch comes on a gray canvas strap with inner leather lining and a titanium (Grade 2) buckle.

The most eye-catching is the 2-layer sandwich construction dial. Offering more details to those who linger longer, the matte black upper layer acts as contrast to the radial-brushed lower layer. That lower layer comes in three different colors: Turquoise, Copper, and Dark Brown. Deliberate white minute markers on the upper layer retain maximum legibility while adding additional texture.

With Swiss Super-Luminova BGW9 on hour marks and hands, the B2 maintains its design principles in night and day, at any level of dress. All 3 options of the B2 begin around $521 in the J&Berg Shop today.
