Windup Watch Fair: Announcing the Brands and a Windup Watch Shop Pop-Up

With the next Windup Watch Fair less than two months away, we’re pleased to announce our full roster of over forty participating brands. We’re also excited to share that we’ll be hosting a special Windup Watch Shop pop-up in NYC the week leading up to the Windup Fair. But more on that later.

Now in its fourth year, the 2018 Windup Watch Fair is easily our biggest ever. With over forty brands, including many newcomers and returning participants alike, there’s definitely something for everyone at the show. To see the full roster of brands, check out the Windup Watch Fair site. The 2018 NYC Windup Watch Fair will be hosted at Chelsea Market (75 9th Avenue) on November 2nd through the 4th. Hours of operation are:

Friday, November 2nd: 11:00am – 6:30pm
Saturday, November 3rd: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Sunday, November 4th: 11:00am – 7:00pm

We’re very happy to have Oris on board as our lead sponsor for 2018. Oris will be presenting a full range of pieces for sale and their team will be available all weekend to answer your questions. We’re also pleased to have additional support from Farer, fresh off the release of their new chronograph collection, and StockX, an innovative platform for buying and selling watches. These sponsors help make Windup an incredible show that is free and open to the public, so many thanks to them.

Included in the returning participants for 2018 are some the most popular brands discussed on Worn & Wound, including Autodromo, Crown & Buckle Black Label, Dan Henry, Farer, Junghans, Oris, and Stowa.

And we’re very excited to be welcoming some great brands to the Fair for the first time, including anOrdain, Damasko, Laco, Lorier, Mido, and StockX.

Windup Watch Shop Pop-up

This year, for the first time, we’re also holding a pop-up for our Windup Watch Shop in Chelsea Market during the week leading up to the Windup Watch Fair. On October 29th, 30th, and 31st, we’ll be in Chelsea Market with watches from all twelve brands featured in our shop, along with our full array of watch accessories. This is a great opportunity to come check out the products in our shop, meet the Worn & Wound team, and talk watches with fellow collectors.

And that’s not all. On Tuesday the 30th and Wednesday the 31st, we’re hosting some free special events in the Chelsea Market space, and you’re all invited to join us. At 6:30 pm on Tuesday, October 30th, StockX will be hosting a panel with Worn & Wound and some very special guests to be announced soon. We’ll be discussing buying, selling , and collecting watches in 2018 and how new media, marketing, and marketplaces are changing the watch industry.
