Fast Company – The Secret History of Midcentury Modern Design–as Cold War Propaganda

The Value of Good Design, MoMa’s latest exhibit, explores how Midcentury design was used as a propaganda tool by the American government to “extol the virtues of American consumerist capitalism in comparison to Soviet communism.” Writing for Fast Company, Katharine Schwab dives briefly into that interesting history.
