Around the Web: Reader Donates Baltic x Worn & Wound Watch for Revolution x The Rake Covid-19 Solidarity Auction

Via Revolution, we’re happy to bring you something of a feel good story featuring a watch that will definitely be familiar to Worn & Wound readers.

As part of their Covid-19 Solidarity Auction, Revolution and The Rake will feature one of our own Worn & Wound x Baltic HMS watches for sale. This was a limited edition of just 100 pieces, and it sold out in a flash when it was introduced back in March.

The watch was donated for sale in the auction by an Australian collector who goes by @hands.faces.cases on Instagram, and at the link below you’ll find his video interview with Wei Koh, where he tells the story of the stroke of good luck that led to his acquisition of the watch, and a bit more about his collecting habits and why he decided to donate the watch in the first place.

It was lost in a move years ago, but he continues to hunt for a similar piece on eBay. Zach loves a wide variety of watches, but leans toward classic designs and proportions that have stood the test of time. He is currently obsessed with Grand Seiko.
