Vintage Omega Seamaster DeVille
This may not be one of the famous Omega Seamasters with fat lugs, or the iconic divers, but this Seamaster DeVille is a great dress watch. The 35.5 yellow gold fill case is in good shape, with sharp edges and classy thin lugs. The caseback has a beautiful hand engraved personalization for 25 years with GTE Sylvania, dated 1974. The crown is original and signed with the Omega logo. The acrylic crystal is scratched and could use a good polish, but the silver dial underneath looks super clean. Classic simple Omega dial with applied gold baton markers and gold stick hands. Mo movement picture but the seller states it runs and keeps time.
Vintage Seiko 5
Here’s a nice, simple vintage Seiko 5, with original bracelet and a Seiko box. I’m not 100% sure this box is original, but it certainly looks to be from the correct period. The steel case is in beautiful shape, unpolished and with the original brushed finish. The silver dial is clean as a whistle, with cool applied steel baton markers that have large lume plots. The steel hands have matching lume filled plots as well. The dial has the ubiquitous day/date window at three o’clock, and the crown is recessed into the case at four o’clock. The watch comes on the correct original bracelet with a signed buckle. The automatic movement is clean and runs well per the seller. Great vintage Seiko that is quite reasonably priced.
Vintage Helbros Automatic
Helbros may not be a household name for divers, but they did make a few cool models. This skin diver has a great look, and is in superb condition. The 38mm steel case is unpolished, with sharp edges and the original brushed finish. The large lugs are drilled out for ease of swapping out the strap. The dial is a nice deep blue, with numerical markers at 6, 9 and 12, and a day/date window at three o’clock. The hands are large and lume filled, and the hour hand has a cool paddle shape to it. The aluminum dive bezel has a little wear, but nothing bad. The watch comes on what looks like a vintage Tropic rubber strap as well. The 25j automatic is clean and runs well per the seller. Great vintage diver that you don’t see too often.
Vintage Compu Chron LED
Next up is a brilliant vintage Compu Chron LED in spectacular condition. The gold tone case is octagonal, with an integrated bracelet that matches perfectly. The case is in perfect condition, with the original brushed finish and razor sharp edges. This one looks almost like it was never worn. The red crystal has no cracks or chips. The watch works as it should, and you can see it in the little video the seller uploaded. I’ve seen a lot of vintage LEDs, and presented many of them here for our readers, but I haven’t seen this model before, it’s a real gem.
Vintage Accutron Deep Sea
Here’s another great diver, this time a classic Accutron Deep Sea. Accutron made several divers back in the day, and this is one of my favorites. The large steel case looks unpolished, with sharp edges and the combo of brushed finish and polished chamfers. Classic. The matte black dial with Submariner style lume plots is in great shape, as is the red and black acrylic bezel insert. The insert is often damaged in this model, but not so on this example. The original acrylic crystal with internal date magnifier window has some crazing, but at least it’s the original crystal! The Accutron tuning fork movement works per the seller. This is as fine an example of this Deep Sea model that I’ve seen in forever…
Vintage LeCoultre Dress Watch
Finishing up this week with a great vintage LeCoultre dress watch that is complete with the box, papers and tags. The yellow 10k yellow gold fill case is smaller, and a simple round style with slim lugs. The gold dial has a vertical brushed finish, with simple stick markers and stick hands, with a sub-seconds dial at six o’clock. The crown isn’t signed, so may be a replacement. There is no movement picture but the seller states the watch runs. This one comes with the original box, instructions, warranty and little hang tags, which is always so nice to have.
