Giveaway: The Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 80th Anniversary Edition

We’re excited to be teaming up with Oris for a pretty incredible giveaway of their Big Crown Pointer Date 80th Anniversary Edition. Since Oris was founded in 1904, its philosophy has been to create watches that serve a real purpose, are produced to the highest standards, and sold at reasonable prices. Still independent today, Oris has stayed true to this philosophy, producing unique, purpose-built timepieces.

Launched in November 2018, the Big Crown Pointer Date commemorates the lineage of the Big Crown line, which dates back to 1938.

The Big Crown Pointer Date measures 40-millimeters in diameter and features a bronze case, rich dark green dial, cathedral hands, and fluted bezel. It’s powered by an in-house modified Cal. 754 movement, based on a Sellita SW200-1. The watch also comes fitted with a sustainably sourced leather strap.

The Big Crown Pointer Date 80th Anniversary Edition is a unique watch that is unlikely to overlap with other watches in your collection. A pointer date is an elegant yet uncommon complication and the bronze case will patinate naturally as it oxidizes so each watch will take on a unique finish over time.

To enter this giveaway, all you have to do is complete this signup form before the giveaway is over on December 19th at 11:59 PM EST. You must enter a valid email address in the form. By entering your email, you agree to register for Oris’ email list and Worn & Wound’s email list. After Dec 19th, a winner will be chosen at random and then contacted by Oris.
