At the end of last week, we had the opportunity to see many of the finest and rarest examples of vintage Heuers, all collected in one room in NYC. The event was a preview of today’s (Sept 19th, 2016) Heuer 100 Auction going on at Crown & Caliber. Seemingly for the sheer fun of getting them all together, C&C pursued prime examples of many of the most revered references of vintage Heuers, from Autavias to Carreras to Monacos and more. Amongst them were some favorites, like the 1150SG Bund and Carrera 45 Dato, as well as a couple of the rarest grails in the world, such as the Monaco PVD 74033N “Dark Lord”. Needless to say, it was a lot of fun as these are not watches that are often in the same place at the same time.
