Pairs Well With: Mr Jones’ Last Laugh

All Hallows Eve is almost upon us. Should you be the party going type, escorting your kids around the neighborhood or just hoping for free candy, you’ll need some sort of costume. And like any other PWW, the inspiration for our Halloween edition begins with a watch. Few watches offer both horror and automatic winding, so Mr. Jones’ Last Laugh is an obvious place to start.

Featuring a steel case with long lugs and a white dial, from a distance it might seem like any other watch. But up close, you’ll notice it’s looking back at you. Time is told through rotating teeth, the top display the hour and the bottom display the minutes. The eyes and nose are mirrored, in order to show you (or unsuspecting Halloweeners) your image in death’s eyes. Amazingly, this $259 dollar watch actually features a SeaGull ST1721 20-jewel automatic movement with true jump hour functionality!

Naturally to pair with this watch, especially on Halloween, we have to play off of its content, yet we didn’t want to go so far as make something you’d only wear once a year. So, let this channel your inner “teenager from mars” with all black, a touch of punk and hint of goth. A mask is optional, but if you go without it, you might want to see if your barber can fix you a devilhawk.
