With its distinct barrel design nose, the Hughes Racer was conceived and built by noted aviator Howard Hughes’ company in 1935 and went on to set both a world airspeed record and a transcontinental speed record across the United States. The Racer to this day remains the last aircraft built by a private individual to set the world speed record. 

Inspired by the Hughes H1 Racer, and other aviation racers of its time, this beautiful chronograph makes an elegant yet sporty statement. The case is 42 x 40 mm and 12 mm wide.
