QUICK RELEASE in partnership with Tusenö

The Tusenö Supervintage is an Invitation to a Cocktail Party

The allure of a beautiful dress watch is much like that of a cocktail: both are opportunities to savor a combination of flavors that are greater than the sum of their parts. If done right, the dial and case of a watch can work together in such a way that the design is more than simply cohesive; it’s beautiful. Tusenö has turned to horological mixology with their latest release, the Supervintage. You can order it as a Negroni, Mojito, or Espresso Martini. For those who are not yet of age, we’ll just say these are three really cool color choices.

The Supervintage immediately grabs your attention thanks to its shape – and not only from the top. The 34.5mm-wide steel double-curvature case has a length of 40.5mm lug-to-lug. We use the term “lug” lightly here as the Supervintage features hidden lugs for a more seamless integration with the strap. This restrained case size is the perfect goldilocks zone and makes the Supervintage an easy watch to share with your partner. Thinness was also a priority as the Supervintage is only 8.7mm thick, including its (also curved) crystal. From the dial side, the stylized Arabic numerals, the outer chapter ring, and the leaf hands all evoke an image of the Swinging 60s, a period when experimentation and creativity with case shapes produced some of the most stunning and collectible timepieces today.

Each flavor of the Tusenö Supervintage is uniquely bold and striking. The Negroni is the brashest with its dark red and orange outer track over soft white elongated Arabic numerals. It also features an inner dial that is textured and punctured by the orange crush-colored sub-seconds dial. The Mojito balances its shimmering sunburst outer edge with a softer non-textured center dial section, while the quietly sophisticated Espresso Martini complements a dark brown dial with a creamy, subtle texture at center. All three models are equipped with a fully decorated ETA 7001 caliber viewable through an exhibition caseback. The Supervintage is paired with quick-change leather straps that taper from 18mm to 14mm.

The Supervintage is a refreshing take on the idea of the mid-century dress watch by infusing tasty color combinations with interesting case shapes. It’s the kind of watch you might find in a Midtown bar, a Greenwich Village artist’s studio, or straight out of a Dali painting at the MoMA. Tusenö’s Supervintage debuts with a special pre-order price of $899, which is valid during the pre-order period between July 30 and August 6. Early birds also receive both black and brown leather straps for even more personalization. Regular pricing is $999, and deliveries are expected to begin before the end of 2025.
