Recapping the 2022 San Francisco Windup Watch Fair

We’ve officially wrapped the 2022 San Francisco Windup Watch Fair, and thanks to you, along with the amazing list of exhibiting sponsors, the show was a smashing success. A huge THANK YOU to all who made time to visit the fair over the weekend, particularly those of you who traveled from places like southern California and as far north as Seattle. It is you that makes this show such an incredible experience, whether you just popped in to see what all the fuss was about, or cleared most of your weekend to just hang out and talk watches with our editors or the brands themselves.

This year was a little different than our previous Windup Watch Fair San Francisco events. We welcomed more brands into a larger venue that also hosted a lounge area, a bar, and even food trucks out front in hopes of providing a space for watch enthusiasts to get comfortable and enjoy their time at the fair. We’d like to thank our partners at Oris for serving as lead sponsor and helping to make this new and improved event possible. Bespoke Watch Projects, Brew Watch Co, Christopher Ward, G-SHOCK, Minase, NORQAIN, Vertex, and Zodiac also contributed to the enhanced Windup experience by supporting the event with feature sponsorship.

This event is as much a platform for our community to experience enthusiasm as it is a sales event for the roster of global brands exhibiting. And this is just the beginning. We can’t wait to see more of you in Chicago and New York City later this year.

Here’s a closer look at what the experience was like around the brands of the show.
