[VIDEO] Hands-On Impressions Of The Timex Giorgio Galli S1

Sometimes, pictures just don’t tell the full story. This is especially the case with watches, and in particular the Timex Giorgio Galli S1. This is a watch we’ve admired since the first 41mm edition released in 2020, and with the new 38mm S1 released this year, the beautiful design feels all the more approachable. In case you missed it, be sure to read Zach Kazan’s interview with Giorgio Galli himself about this very watch, and keep an eye out for an in-depth review coming soon.

Until then, here’s our first impressions of the 38mm Timex Giorgio Galli S1.

Catch Ed Jelley’s full review of the original Giorgio Galli S1 right here. The new 38mm S1 feels premium in-hand, punching way above its $450 price tag. The design works beautifully in the new case size, and the injection molded steel cases is equally compelling. While slightly thicker than anticipated, there are plenty of small details to discover and appreciate with this Timex. I’m not quite sure how to categorize this one (let’s call it, classy casual?) but it works. Timex.
