QUICK RELEASE in Partnership with Trafford Watch Co

Trafford Watch Co. Rocks The Road with the New Touring GMT

GMTs are associated with a lot of careers: pilots, international sales teams, and now… the rock star. True to their Austin roots, Trafford newest release is made for the musician on the road. Whether you’re screaming into the mic, managing monitors, or swaying in the crowd, the new Touring GMT is for the music. The watch is dripping with direct links to Americana style, pulling inspiration from the visual diversity around the country. Strong typography and bold hands harken back to sign painting.

The Touring GMT measures in at a very wearable 39 mm x 12 mm x 46 mm in a 316L Stainless Steel case with added protective coating. A double-domed sapphire crystal with interior anti-reflective coating helps keep you in the know under bright lights. No matter the venue, the Touring GMT will work with an included 20mm Italian leather strap and also a 20 mm Perlon pass-through style strap that can withstand full submersion.

The 9075 is a “True GMT” movement, meaning you can adjust the main hour hand while the outer GMT hand stays independently locked to your home time. More uniquely, the Touring GMT uses an AM/PM scale to visually split day and night. This allows the wearer to quickly understand if it’s day or night back home. The Miyota 9075 movement gives the wearer 42 hours of rocking. Trafford is also offering a bracelet option with solid quick release end links and on-the-fly micro-adjustmentments.  When the trials of the road warriors pick up, the Touring GMT can handle it, with 10 ATM of water resistance.

Available in three beautiful colorways, each model is named after iconic music venues around the U.S. and evokes the joy and resilience involved in live music. The Troubadour, inspired by the venue in West Hollywood, California, offers bright orange hands, on a white dial, enclosed in the green two-tone outer rim, light green date window, and yellow GMT pointer. The Bluebird, named after The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, brings a deeper balance of blues and yellows on the dial with a color-matched date window, the same orange hands as the Troubadour, and a light blue GMT pointer. The Saxon, inspired by The Saxon Pub in Trafford’s hometown Austin, is a bold black dial with clear white indices. A color-matched date wheel reveals teal dates in a color that matches the hour and minute hand and all pop, even on a casual viewing. The second hand of each watch is also color-matched to the indices.

Representing Trafford’s third design in their already burgeoning collection of colorful, well-designed timepieces, the Touring GMT will be a welcome addition to any band member, venue attendant, or fan’s travel kit. Eager fans can see the Touring GMT in the metal at Windup Watch Fair New York this weekend, October 18-20, 2024 where Trafford will be offering an exclusive pre-release window for attendees to buy at a special price. Full retail pricing will start at $899 after early bird pricing concludes. Now is the time to head to the Trafford Watch Co Online Shop today to learn more about the Touring GMT.
