Windup Watch Fair San Francisco 2020: Meet the Brands – Part 1

Mark your calendars,  Windup Watch Fair San Francisco is back and less than one month away, taking place on March 27-29th at 459 Geary St. We’ve got an exciting lineup with a little bit of something for everyone, so whether you’re a long-time watch geek or a first-time watch buyer, you’re not going to want to miss this one. Starting today, we’ll begin highlighting the great vendors making this year’s show possible.

Lead Sponsor: Oris

Oris is absolutely no stranger to Worn & Wound, and they’ve been part of Windup since the very beginning. We’re excited to welcome ALOHA watches to Windup this year! This local brand came out of the gate strong not only with a great name, but also a fantastic GMT, which we looked at here. ALOHA is also hosting a charity raffle with the Brighton Jones Foundation during Windup which will benefit the GRACE Nanana rescue center in Kenya. Brand founder Spencer Leu will be on-hand to discuss his freshman collection, so be sure to check out this promising young brand. ALOHA

anOrdain

Coming all the way from Scotland, anOrdain watches feature beautiful enamel dials made in-house by a small group of skilled craftspeople. From the distinct typeface to the execution of the enameling, anOrdain has, in a short amount of time, developed a really unique design language that’s won over a loyal following. We’re looking forward to people checking out their watches, which includes a newly revamped edition of their Model 1. anOrdain

Baltic

Founded by Etienne Malec, Baltic is a beloved brand out of France that first made a splash when they launched a Kickstarter campaign focused on bringing accessibly priced, vintage-inspired mechanical chronographs and three-hand watches to the market. They’ve since grown their range to include a great old-school diver, so if you like classic, mid-century designs, then Baltic is a must-see. Baltic

Bespoke Watch Projects

Offering watches in extremely limited editions, Bespoke Watch Projects focuses on giving their customers a more personal touch. Each watch is created to the specifications of the client, and final assembly takes place in the firm’s Oakland, California studio. The possibilities are endless, and one of our favorites is the in-house engraved “Intaglio” dials they debuted not long ago, so don’t miss out for your chance to handle these in the metal. Collins Watch Company

Founded by its namesake Jimmy Collins, Collins Watch Company creates pieces inspired by classic field and pilot watches, while also drawing from Jimmy’s background in the recording studio. Collins most recent watch is a diver they’ve dubbed Sonar, so be sure to swing by their booth to learn more about this great, value-packed timepiece. Collins
