The Zenith Chronomaster is one of a small handful of truly iconic timepieces, and it will forever own a bit of history as one of the first automatic chronographs to come to market. Timeless Luxury Watches, the Texas based retailer, has shared that they’ll be selling a highly limited version of the Chronomaster beginning this summer in what’s said to be the final watch to be made in the absolutely perfect 38mm case size.
Only 38 examples of this particular El Primero will be made. The watch features a stark white dial with tri-color subdials in red, bue, and gray. The red accent is carried through to the chronograph seconds hand as well as the subdial hands that total elapsed minutes and hours. It’s a colorful final flourish for a truly great watch. The reverse side has an open caseback with “Final Edition” stamped on the perimeter, along with the limited edition number.
The watch will be sold with a total of three straps, one to match each of the three subdial colors. The matching Zenith bracelet can be ordered at an additional $1,050 premium, but Timeless has let us know that these bracelets are in short supply at Zenith, and they don’t expect that all orders can be filled on a bracelet (so, as with any LE, it’s best to act fast).
The retail price for the Final Edition Chronomaster is $8,800 with three included leather straps, and $9,850 with three straps and a bracelet (if available). Timeless is the exclusive retailer of the Final Edition, and more information can be found at their website right here.
