A Recap of the Chicago Windup Watch Fair

And just like that, the Chicago Windup Watch Fair is a wrap! We’d like to thank everyone who joined us for our first ever Midwest event and helped to make it a huge success. Our team had the pleasure of speaking with many of you, some of whom traveled from all around the country, and your enthusiasm for the watch community was on full display.

We’d also like to thank all of the brands that chose to participate in the Chicago Fair. Oris showed out with their most dynamic presence yet, which included a crowd favorite photo booth with the Oris Bear. We also welcomed several brands at Windup for the first time, including Bulova, Citizen, Collective Horology, Foliot, Grant Stone, Standard H, Vieren, and many others. James Stacey and Jason Heaton of The Grey NATO also joined us, hosting several podcasts, including one in partnership with our team, and a special post-podcast happy hour for their listeners.

The Windup Watch Fair is only as good as the people and brands that choose to participate in it. With that said, without a doubt, the Chicago Fair was our most successful to date. For those who weren’t able to attend the Fair, we’ve put together a recap video and gallery to give you a sense of what you can expect from future events. We’ll definitely be back in Chicago next year. Until then, thanks again for a great event, and hope to see you in New York City this October!
