Cool Hunting & NOMOS Create The Club Campus 38 LE Pride

NOMOS has revealed 6 new watches in their Club Campus 38 family that have been created with the help of the New York based fashion and lifestyle publication, Cool Hunting. This isn’t your average collaboration however, these watches are Limited Edition Pride models, and for each watch sold, $100 will be given to The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ youth. In celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, the six watches feature one the 6 colors of the rainbow flag.

The Pride Models build on the popular Club Campus 38 watch from NOMOS, sporting a California dial inside a 38.5mm case that’s a scant 8.5mm thick. You’ll notice the contrast with other NOMOS watches due to the traditional lug design incorporated into the case as whole, something that differentiates the Club and Zürich collections. The Club family in particular is no stranger to color, with models that feature both subtle and overt uses of bright, full saturation designs. The LE Pride models build on that theme in a different way, with 6 new dial colors representing the corresponding attributes of the flag as a LGBTQ+ representational tool.

The Spirit (purple) dial

The distinctive dials, along with their associated themes, are: Life (red), Healing (orange), Sunlight (yellow), Nature (green), Serenity (blue) and Spirit (purple). Each color gets a supporting accent color that brings some dimension to the palette in typical NOMOS fashion. If you hadn’t noticed, they’re pretty capable designers (and they’ve the awards to prove it). Inside each of the watches resides the NOMOS Alpha caliber, a hand wound unit that provides 42 hours of reserve and a petite seconds at 6 o’clock. A grey textile strap places all emphasis on the dial.

The LE case back design

Pricing for the LE Pride models remains the same as regular production Club Campus watches, at $1,650. Just 22 examples of each color will be built, representing the 22 years that The Trevor Project has been operating to the benefit of LGBTQ+ youth. A $100 donation is made with the sale of each watch to The Trevor Project, totalling $13,200 for the full edition. These watches are selling fast so jump over to NOMOS to secure yours and know you’re helping a worthy cause in the process.
