On this week’s episode of The Worn & Wound Podcast, we discuss our recent trip to the National Watch and Clock Museum, Moser’s Swiss Icons watch, and the newly minted Clifton Baumatic 5-Day Automatic from Baume and Mercier. This episode is brought to you by StockX.
Last week, we had the privilege of visiting the good folks over at The National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia, Pennsylvania. If you’ve never been, then you should absolutely add it to your bucket list. Open since 1977, the National Watch and Clock Museum boasts a collection of over 12,000 unique items spanning the horological spectrum—from priceless, historical artifacts to the watches that once graced James Bond’s wrist. The Museum offers a truly expansive take on the history of horology, which is made possible by donations coming in from all over the world. The Museum’s Library and Research Center is also noteworthy, with over 30,000 books in circulation. Simply put, there’s nothing else out there quite like the Museum.
Check out the gallery at the end this post for just a small fraction of what’s on display at the National Watch and Clock Museum.
