QUICK RELEASE in partnership with Gotham Time

Gotham Watch Club Brings a New Watch Event to NYC this Week: Introducing Gotham Time

The modern watch world is more accessible than ever, but paradoxically, some of the most interesting watches remain difficult to experience in person. Many independent brands operate exclusively online, and even seasoned collectors often have few opportunities to handle these watches before making a purchase. That’s part of what makes Gotham Time so compelling.

Taking place June 12–13 in New York City, Gotham Time, presented by Gotham Watch Club and created by WatchChris, aims to offer a different kind of watch fair—one centered on discovery, access, and community. Rather than focusing on crowded exhibition halls or purely transactional experiences, the event is designed to bring enthusiasts and brands together in a more casual, approachable environment.

The two-day gathering will feature a carefully curated roster of independent watchmakers, known and emerging brands, many of whom are rarely seen in traditional retail settings. For attendees, that means the opportunity to spend hands-on time with watches they’ve likely only encountered online, compare pieces side-by-side, and engage directly with founders, designers, and brand representatives.

For newer collectors, Gotham Time offers a wide variety of different entry points. With exhibiting brands representing a wide range of price points and styles, attendees will have the opportunity to explore watches distinguished by thoughtful design, engineering, craftsmanship, and storytelling. The event is the vision of Chris Salih, better known to many collectors as WatchChris on YouTube and Instagram.
