The lume is definitely a master of lumes, but for this watch i think the outstanding feature should be how all the elements on the dial go so well with that black matt background ! two thumbs up !

I’ve got the stainless version in 40mm. I really like it as it wears closer to 42mm. I had the XL version prior, but felt it was a little too tall for my tastes. The 40mm is a perfect watch if you’re looking for something that will receive a lot of interested inquiries.
I’ve actually looked at Lum-Tec, but wasn’t sure a 44mm would fit my wrist. The upcoming Cobalt (non XL) look really good, but this diver looks really nice, too.

Lots to like about this watch – indices design, lume used, size, depth rating, Seiko movement and the dial. The sum of all these features adds up to a watch that can be worn for any occasion. The only disadvantage is the price point.

It is a really nice watch. Never thought I would fall in love with a Diver. The bezel makes a nice combination with the overall design and the way it is made, makes it unobtrusive and at the same time present: The use of sapphire in both, the bezel and the main crystal, makes a really clean look.
The functionality and visibility of the lume shows the quality of the watch and the time invested to put all the characteristic together.
The rubber band is a really nice complement for an alternative style and makes it sportier without affecting the look of a real product.
It is a bold move for “design-quality-functionality” but that is good in many ways: It keeps the market fresh, competitive and it shows that there’s always room for originality and improvement.

I am not usually inti the blacked out look, but I must say that it works well here.
I suppose the days of LumTec’s with ETA’s are winding down to a close (still a few on their site). Nothing wrong with Seiko or Miyota movements though, especially the one’s LumTec has picked.

This watch looks great, even though it’s a little bit overpriced (for the specs it has). However, we all know that we pay not for what we have inside, but for the appearance, “the look and feel”. So let’s hope this watch will attract many glimpses when on your hand!
