Seiko 7T27-7A20 Chronograph
Starting off this week with a beautiful vintage Seiko 7T27-7A20 military style quartz chronograph. This is the same model that was issued to the RAF, but without the military markings. You’ve got to love the clean looks of the black dial with black subdials and broad outer minute ring. The 38mm steel case looks clean and unpolished. The dial and hands are perfect. Seller states the watch runs and works as it should. This is a very popular model, and rightfully so. Great civilian version of a classic modern military watch.
Vintage Omega Seamaster
This may not be your classic ‘fat lug’ 1950s Omega Seamaster, but it is still a fantastic watch. This late 1960s Seamaster has a larger, more modern case at about 40mm. The case is unpolished with nice sharp edges and the original brushed finish. The silver/champagne dial is original and looks perfect, with large applied steel baton markers and large steel hands that have both black and lume inlays. This model has a day/date window at 3 o’clock. The watch comes on what looks like the original Omega steel bracelet and it matches the style perfectly. No movement picture but the seller states it runs.
Vintage Seiko DX 6106-7589
Here is a super sweet vintage Seiko DX 6106-7589 from 1974. The DX was a sort of sporty mid-level offering from Seiko. This one features a brilliant emerald colored dial with unique faceted steel hour markers. The broad beveled ‘skyscraper’ hands finish off the look. The steel case is unpolished with sharp edges and the original mix of brushed and polished finishes. Best of all it comes on the original Seiko bracelet, and the back still has the little oval sticker on it. Fantastic and colorful vintage Seiko.
Vintage Pulsar P3 LED
Next up is this classic vintage Pulsar P3 LED with the original box. The Pulsar has that perfect Space-Age look with the bulbous steel case and bilateral side buttons and the big red LED glass. The watch is in excellent, unpolished condition. It comes on the original integrated bracelet as it should. Comes with the correct box, but the box is in rough shape and there are no papers. Still, this box is better than no box!
Vintage Bulova Computron
What’s better than one vintage LED? Two! If the Pulsar above is a classic, then this vintage Bulova Computron LED is downright iconic. This is the model that was re-issued by Bulova several years ago as a heritage edition, and rightfully so. I have one of the heritage versions and picked it as my favorite quartz watch in our recent group editorial. This original example is all gold (plated) with the knurled top section and knurled texture bracelet. Bulova released several iterations back in the 1970s, and this is one that I haven’t seen in a bit. The watch is in great, original condition, and the LED display works with no missing segments. Great piece of horological history that is a blast to wear.
Vintage Seiko 6309-7040
Sometimes things come in bunches, and this week it’s Seikos! I couldn’t NOT pick this vintage Seiko 6309-7040 from March 1979. The watch is in stellar, original condition, something that is getting harder and harder to find these days. The “Suwa” dial looks clean, and no black funk on the hands either. The aluminum bezel insert is clean as a whistle. The case is unpolished with sharp edges and the original brushed and polished finish. Even better, it comes on the original GL831 strap. The starting bid is definitely on the high side, but a 6309 in this condition is worth it for sure.
