Baselworld is undoubtedly one of the most important trade shows in the watch industry. But last week, Quill & Pad reported that the 2018 show will be 50% smaller, with three (and possibly more) halls closing and half of the exhibitors gone. On today’s episode of The Worn & Wound Podcast, the team discusses these developments and what they might mean for the industry. We also take some time to go over our recent collaboration with Stowa, the inspiration behind the watch, and why we were really excited to work with the storied German brand.

Wrist check: Ilya’s Autodromo Group B, Zach’s Omega Speedmaster, and Blake’s Stowa Flieger Chronograph.

Ilya is Worn & Wound's Managing Editor and Video Producer. He believes that when it comes to watches, quality, simplicity and functionality are king. This may very well explain his love for German and military-inspired watches. In addition to watches, Ilya brings an encyclopedic knowledge of leather, denim and all things related to menswear.
