The “1521” is the iconic collection par excellence of the Squale brand, and takes its name from the original production reference that Von Büren gave to this case back in the 1960s. To this day, it has remained faithful to the original. It was designed and built by Charles Von Büren at a time when diving watches were just beginning to appear, with its 50 atm of pressure resistance, guaranteeing peace of mind to all underwater exploration enthusiasts.

The addition of two new models to the brand’s most iconic collection shows Squale’s commitment to continuous innovation while staying true to its roots.
Unique design is another hallmark of Squale timepieces. Captivating colors further make the 1521 Collection a timeless iconic diving watch. The 1521 Green Ray model features a green dial that progressively darkens from the center to the edge. This is the first dial in the 1521 Collection to display a gradient from green to black.
The 1521 Full Luminous Militaire was conceived through the merging of the iconic 1521 Full Lumen and the 1521 Militaire models’ best features. The fully illuminated SuperLuminova dial combined with the superior legibility of the professional indexes and a dateless dial result in an even higher performing timepiece.
The 1521 Full Luminous Militaire is also characterized by the use of Superluminova BGW9 on the dial for maximum legibility in deep water. For the first time in the collection, the bezel insert includes indicators made entirely of Superluminova.

The dial, with applique indexes and the ceramic bezel with a brushed finish, allows you to immerse yourself in the blue tones of the sea, accompanying you on all your diving adventures.
It’s also the only model in the entire 1521 Collection equipped with a NATO strap, a highly durable material that guarantees maximum comfort.

The COSC Certified 1521 models are the cornerstone of the 1521 Collection. Not only is their mechanical performance outstanding, but their look is equally extraordinary. They are in fact the first steel models to feature a case with a bi-lux finish, i.e. satin-finished with polished bevels for maximum elegance
