QUICK RELEASE in partnership with Citizen

The New Citizen Promaster Dive E365 is The Epitome of Endurance

Frankly speaking, Citizen’s serious dive watches need no introduction. The Promaster moniker, with over 35 years of professional performance mastery, and its groundbreaking light-powered Eco-Drive movement technology, are forever part of horological history as giants of reliability, durability, and capability. Enjoyed by thousands of professional divers and casual enthusiasts alike, the Citizen Promaster is among the most beloved dive watches around. With this latest model, Citizen has maintained the Promaster’s diving chops and recognizable design and equipped it with a new movement representing a quantum leap forward. Just how far forward? You could say it is a light year. This is the new Citizen Promaster Dive E365.

The new Promaster Dive E365, at first glance, is the same watch you know and love. It’s a 46mm wide (16.3mm thick) chunk of stainless steel partnered with a biomass-based polyurethane diving strap, and it retains the classic helium escape valve, crown and crown guards at 4 o’clock, and distinctive hands, hour markers, and knurled bezel. Luminous hands and indices provide excellent underwater brightness, and the watch is also ISO-standard rated to 300 meters of water resistance. A date window at 4 o’clock lines up nicely with the crown and ensures that the lume plots at 12, 3, 6, and 9 preserve perfect symmetry. The dial beautifully mimics the transition of colors of the deep sea by gradually transitioning from top to bottom. On the flip side, a diving helmet icon is pressed into the caseback as a symbol of its underwater prowess.

Look beyond the surface, and you’ll discover the big surprise. Eco-Drive, Citizen’s proprietary light-powered movement technology, has been around for nearly 50 years and has the unique capability of being sustainably powered by light. Thanks to the millions of Eco-Drive timepieces sold in that time, it is estimated that more than 100,000,000 batteries have been prevented from stacking up in landfills – equivalent to more than 3,600 Mount Everest summits. The new Caliber E365 in the new Promaster 300m can, incredibly, run for one year on a full charge. And it does all this while maintaining an accuracy of +/- 15 seconds a month. How’s that for an engine upgrade?

The Citizen Promaster Dive E365 takes a winning formula, well-regarded for its accuracy and durability, and elevates it to a new level. As the intersection of Citizen’s best in waterproofness and accuracy and reliability, the Promaster Dive E365 ensures its legendary namesake endures as long as its movement does – far longer, in fact. The new Promaster is priced at $695, and you can learn more about it by visiting Citizen’s website here.
