QUICK RELEASE in partnership with Citizen

The New Citizen Promaster Navihawk A-T Takes to the Skies

In the century-plus history that Citizen boasts in watchmaking, it has perhaps never built a more capable all-round watch as the new Promaster Navihawk A-T. More than a pilot’s watch, the new Navihawk is the tool watch, personified. Beyond its laundry list of capabilities, it also occupies a notable position in Citizen’s Promaster line. Since 1989, Promaster has represented what Citizen can create when it prioritizes durability and functionality over all else. The new Promaster Navihawk A-T carries that namesake into the present day as an attractive and wearable watch that delivers everything it promises and more.

The new Promaster Navihawk A-T is easily recognizable thanks to its triple registers and neatly-organized slide rule and tachymeter bezels. As a package, its 41mm silver-tone stainless steel case is paired with a matching three-link bracelet. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal ensures optimal legibility on what can be considered organized chaos on the dial whose dark blue sunburst configuration adds just enough style to what is otherwise a no-nonsense watch. Pushers at 1 and 4 operate the chronograph, and the crown at 7 works the aeronautical slide rule. Water resistance is rated to 200 meters. For all of its capabilities (more on that in a moment), the Navihawk is more than reasonably sized to wear on a wide range of wrists. This was clearly designed to be an approachable watch, not just a necessary tool for hardcore adventurers.

The Citizen Promaster Navihawk A-T’s functions would make even the most diehard enthusiast’s head spin. It is a perpetual calendar chronograph that can measure 1/20th of a second for up to 60 minutes. It is a world timer that can synchronize and adjust its own time across 26 time zones. It can tell both 12 and 24 hour time formats and – don’t forget to come up for air – does all of it totally independently of any human power source. Thanks to Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive light-powered technology, the Navihawk is continuously powered by any light, natural or artificial. This groundbreaking technology will be commemorating 50 years of innovation in 2026. As if all that weren’t enough, the “A-T” synchronizes to atomic clocks across four regions to ensure it is always on time (and date). Oh, and it has a day and date indicator.

Watches like the Citizen Promaster Navihawk A-T are true testaments to just how far technology and progress has taken the wristwatch. In the clouds or on the ground, the new Navihawk continues to represent Promaster at its best: timelessness for its uncompromising usefulness. The new Navihawk A-T is available for purchase now, and you can view the full specifications and learn more at citizenwatch.com.
