Inspired by the spirit of Las Vegas and the performer’s energy, Bulova reinterpreted a vintage 1960’s timepiece from the company’s vast archives that includes a striking sunray brushed gold dial ring with etched markers and a 40mm stainless steel elegant case shape. Updated with a record cut black center dial resulting in a concentric circle pattern for a strong and lively contrast along with a date window at 3 o’clock, the design of the watch is both clean and simple, but bold, truly representing the Rat Pack.
The Rat Pack watch is offered on a black alligator grain leather strap with special case back featuring the Rat Pack logo and signatures of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin. Under the dial, the watch is powered by an 8215 Miyota self-winding automatic movement with 42-hour power reserve and 30M water resistance.
Bulova’s connection to Frank Sinatra began in the 1950’s during The Frank Sinatra Show television program, also known as Bulova Watch Time, which the brand was the sponsor. The singer was also known to be a wearer of Bulova timepieces throughout his life. This year to support the Frank Sinatra School Of The Arts, Bulova hosted a TikTok Competition for students to win a Bulova “Rat Pack” watch from the Frank Sinatra Collection.
Paying tribute to the legendary performer, Bulova draws design inspiration from the 1950’s and 1960’s with unmistakable branding elements of the famed musician. The watch comes in a custom lacquer Rat Pack box with Limited Edition plaque, card, and story book. Get the new Rat Pack watch for $795 on the Bulova site.
