#Straps4ACure: Get a Cool Strap and Support a Great Cause

If the #watchfam is anything, it’s generous. The #Straps4ACure initiative came about in 2015, when Mike Werb’s (who some of you may know better as @mikeswatches) wife, Jaclyn, was diagnosed with breast cancer just 8 weeks after the birth of their son. Mike teamed up with the good folks over at Crown & Buckle to create a limited edition watch strap, with a percentage of each strap sale going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. In 2015 and 2016, the initiative raised over $20,000 for cancer research.

It’s been three years since the diagnosis, and we’re happy to report that Jaclyn is cancer-free. To mark this important milestone (which also coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month), #Straps4ACure is back with a new fundraising goal. Crown & Buckle is selling a custom Supreme NATO strap with a pink center stripe accenting a gunmetal grey seat-belt nylon. The straps are available in 20 or 22 millimeters and come with brushed stainless steel or black PVD hardware. The #Straps4ACure hashtag is engraved on each buckle. The straps are $34, and $17 from each sale will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. So hit the link here, get a cool strap, and do some good.
