The Royal Smith 90-006 is the most distilled version of what an everyday watch can be. It boasts evergreen wearable dimensions and a textured “waffle” dial that harmoniously complements the arrow hour markers and matching dauphine hands. This is an ideal timepiece for someone with a middle-of-the-road wardrobe—not too dressy, not too casual, and just right. The Royal Smith 90-006, particularly with a green dial and Brequet-style numerals, splits the difference between a rugged sport watch and an elegant dress watch. This particular Sombrero variant is worth taking a closer look. By combining a dark, yet festive green hue and a linen finish, Kuoe brings a whole new dimension to the typical approach dive watch dial designs. The linen finish isn’t overly loud or obnoxious; instead it makes itself known when the lighting is right.
