The Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical With a White Dial, Now Available Through Topper Jewelers

The Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical is one of the most acclaimed watches of recent years for good reason: it’s affordable, it has a great hand wound movement, and it uses a timeless military inspired design that seems to become more appealing year after year. Now, we’re happy to share that the newest version of the Khaki Field Mechanical with a beautiful white dial and an updated movement is ready to ship, exclusively from Topper Jewelers.

Topper Jewelers will be a familiar name to many who have shopped for Swiss luxury watches over the years. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, they are one of the premier names in watch retail nationally, and have a long history of collaborating with some of the biggest names in watches for limited and special editions of iconic timepieces over the years. It’s a family business, built on great customer service, and if you call to place an order you’re likely to speak with either of the store’s co-owners, Russ or Rob Caplan, at any given time. Topper also hosts regular watch related meet-ups at the store — they truly understand the importance of the community behind this hobby.

The original Khaki Field Mechanical was introduced in November 2017, and the value-priced Hamilton immediately became a Topper best seller. It wasn’t long before Russ and Rob started thinking about a white dialed variant.

“Last summer, we worked with Hamilton on designing a white-dialed field watch, using the Khaki Field Mechanical as the inspiration for a product we’d hope to one day carry. We are thrilled to announce that Hamilton took our design input and added it to their 2019 collection” – Rob Caplan

With input from the team at Topper, Hamilton has created a super legible version of the watch with a stark white dial and aged lume plots. It comes in the same great 38mm size, perfect for men and women, comfortable on any wrist. The power reserve has been increased to an astonishing 80 hours, which is pretty impressive for a hand wound watch at this price point.

The simple, functional design of the watch is the key to its appeal. This Hamilton is made to be durable and accompany its owner from adventure to adventure, and then perhaps to the office and around the house as well. The brushed case surfaces will hold up well to scratches and dings over time, and the interior 24 hour scale is both a clever vintage touch and a useful visual aid for calculating military time, when needed. The Khaki Field Mechanical is decidedly no frills, but it also has everything you need, making it a great choice whether this is your first mechanical watch, or you’re a seasoned enthusiast.

The Khaki Field Mechanical in white is available exclusively from Topper in three different options. For $495, the watch can be had on the green NATO strap that it has been associated with since its launch. The watch can also be ordered with a brown leather NATO for $525. For the collector, Topper is also offering a set that includes both straps, plus a strap changing tool, in a special Hamilton box for $625. Of course, the watch is a strap monster, too, so it’ll look great on all sorts of different watch straps.

The Khaki Field Mechanical in its white dial variant is shipping now, direct from Topper in Burlingame, CA. Call them today to claim yours, or visit their website for additional information. Topper Jewelers
