[VIDEO] On-Wrist Reaction: Hand Crankers, Telemeter Scales, and One Serious Buckle

On-Wrist Reaction returns with a trio of new watches that span broad territory, and as usual, include a few surprises from brands you might be expecting. First up is a new diver from a brand called Aera, which pairs a unique modern design with a robust dive case and one peculiar suede strap with a buckle that’s not messing around. We’re also taking a look at a new hand wound watch from Shinola, yes that Shinola, called the Mechanic. We find plenty to enjoy in this charming 39mm field (?) watch. Finally, the popular Tissot 1938 Telemeter chronograph closes out the show in old school style. Don’t miss Blake and Patrick reacting to these watches in the video below, and keep an eye out for an incoming review on the Tissot.

If you’d like to see reviews of the Aera or the Shinola, let us know in the comments here or on YouTube. You can learn more about Aera, including the diver seen here and their take on a pilot’s watch right here. Check out more of Shinola’s Mechanic watch right here

What’s your takeaway from this lot? Let us know in the comments and keep an eye out for more On-Wrist Reaction videos coming soon. If you’ve got a suggestion or would like to see us react to your watch or piece of EDC gear, shoot us an email at [email protected].
