Save Stereogum Crowdfunding Campaign

If you’ve been engaged in the indie music scene at all in the last two decades or so, chances are you’ve landed on the pages of Stereogum at some point in time. The indie music blog has had a complicated ownership history in recent years, being bought and sold by media groups, as so many once niche websites have. The worldwide pandemic has slowed his efforts, so Stereogum has launched a crowdfunding campaign to keep the site alive, and independent. Donations to the Indiegogo campaign can yield all kinds of merch, including hoodies, pins, and t-shirts.

The idea behind Neighborhood Heroes is to highlight volunteers who have been helping their neighbors throughout the pandemic. The photographs and accompanying interviews are powerful and provide a sense of hope, even as the virus continues to spread wildly outside of New York.
